What kind of work does Jeannette have?
My work is multi-faceted: I am the first point of contact for customers who have questions about their insurance policies whether it is processing applications, explaining policies or answering payments and changes.
What does Jeannette think is important?
What I find important is to advise customers in clear and understandable language, so that they know exactly what they are insured for and what they can expect.
For me, it’s not about sales, but about finding the best solution for the customer, fitting their needs and wishes.
What does Jeannette like about working at VLIEG?
What I really enjoy about my work at VLIEG is the personal contact. I am a “people person” by nature and fully understand that sometimes insurance can be a frustrating or stressful experience. Whether it’s a confusing bill or the need to sort something out quickly, I’m ready to work with the client to find the right solution. I like to think with my clients so they can confidently say, “This is well taken care of, I don’t have to worry about it for the foreseeable future.”
What is Jeannette proud of?
I am proud of the moment when I can insure a seemingly uninsurable risk, such as a special home with lots of ornamental glass, or a farmhouse with a thatched roof. These challenges give me satisfaction and show me every time again how important it is to keep asking questions and to look for solutions together with the client.
In addition to my work at VLIEG, I am also a confidant for colleagues, where I assist in providing a listening ear in difficult work situations.
I believe in a work environment where you can be yourself and where the focus is on finding solutions together.
What does Jeannette do in her spare time?
My free time includes spending time with my children and having a passion for dancing.
In addition, I have a long history of training, teaching and national competitions in competition of and with German shepherd dogs, a hobby that has since given way to my dance passion.
What is Jeannette's goal for the future?
My goal for the future? I want to continue to develop, both personally and professionally, so that I can respond flexibly to changes in the insurance market and continue to provide added value for my clients. The most important thing for me is that my clients can confidently say, “It’s well taken care of.”
