If you want to remodel your own home or remodel a purchased home, the appraiser will also put the market value after remodeling in the appraisal report. You provide the remodeling plans and associated costs for it to the appraiser. The maximum mortgage is then based on the home value after remodeling.

An appraisal by VLIEG Brokers can be used for a variety of purposes, including:

These appraisers are registered with the Dutch Register of Real Estate Appraisers (NRVT) which means they are regularly tested on their knowledge and skills.

The appraisal process begins with an initial contact.
This is followed by an assignment to perform the appraisal.
The appraiser gathers the necessary information about the property to be appraised based on the client’s specific criteria. Next, the appraiser visits the property to perform a thorough recording and take photographs…. This recording is followed by a detailed appraisal report that, after being externally validated, you will receive digitally within a few business days.
A home appraisal by VLIEG Brokers typically takes a few business days, from the initial intake to receiving the appraisal report.
This ensures that you can quickly move forward with your plans, whether buying a new home or refinancing your existing mortgage.
An appraisal report is usually valid for six months.
This depends on the lender and current market conditions.
After this period, the value of the home may have changed, which will require a new appraisal.
It is important to keep this in mind when planning your purchase or financing.
