About the location and the neighborhood:
This family home is located on a quiet road in the district Wheermolen. This district is booming and thoroughly renovated in recent years. It is a very child friendly environment with several elementary schools within walking distance and secondary schools within cycling distance of the house. Within a 10 minutes bike ride, you are in the Purmerbos, which is largely a dog walking area. There are many hiking and biking trails there, as well as a golf course, riding stables and even an adventure and gnome forest for the little ones. An ideal place for the whole family (including your four-legged friends!) to get a breath of fresh air! A large shopping center with a wide range of supermarkets, stores and pharmacies is located at 5 minutes by bike from the house. From the bus stop near the house, the travel time to Amsterdam Central Station is 37 minutes. In less than 5 minutes of cycling distance, is also the train station "Overwhere" with from there convenient train connections in various directions. The main roads (A7 towards Hoorn and A8 and A10 towards Zaandam and Amsterdam) are also easily accessible.
