About the location and the neighbourhood:
The apartment is located in the historical Plantagebuurt area of Amsterdam, just outside the city centre. This area is still surprisingly peaceful, quiet, residential and untouristy, giving you a real sense of the “old” Amsterdam.Numerous famous hotspots - including Artis, the Hortus Botanicus, the Scheepsvaartmuseum and NEMO - are within walking distance.
At the end of the day, you can enjoy a drink at one of the always lively cafés on, for example, the Entrepotdok, Kadijksplein, Plantagekerklaan and Plantage Middenlaan. You can also do your daily groceries in the convenience of your own neighbourhood, for example at the Sarphatistraat, Cruquiuskade and Dappermarkt.
