Desirée Visser is a commercial office assistant at VLIEG Mortgages. She is from Bergen in North Holland and has been working in the mortgage business for 40 years. After a long period at a bank, where she was also active in the mortgage office, she switched to VLIEG. By now she has been working within the mortgage team for almost 10 years with great pleasure.
At VLIEG, Desirée deals with mortgage files. She interacts with clients, notaries and lenders and ensures that applications run as smoothly as possible. Thanks to her extensive experience, customer-friendly attitude and informal way of communicating, clients quickly feel at ease. Outside of work hours, Desirée enjoys running, yoga, languages, traveling, the sun and spending time with her family.
What does Desiréé mean to VLIEG?
Desirée is a familiar face within the inside sales department of VLIEG Mortgages. She manages assigned mortgage files from start to finish and ensures that all steps in the process are followed up properly. From collecting documents to coordinating with lenders and notaries: Desirée keeps an overview and monitors progress.
Her goal is clear: to work with the client to make the mortgage application as smooth and pleasant as possible. She helps clients provide the right documents, answers questions and makes sure everyone knows where they stand. Because of her knowledge and experience, she knows exactly what is needed to complete a file carefully and efficiently.

Outside of work, Desirée enjoys traveling, the sun, her family and being active with running and yoga. She also has a passion for languages, something that fits well with her ability to help English-speaking clients in a pleasant way.
