With over 25 years of experience in brokerage, Job is a well-known name in North Holland. In Waterland in his career he already guided almost 2000 successful buying and selling transactions. Since 2021 he has been putting his enormous professional knowledge and enthusiasm to use as Manager Residential Brokerage at VLIEG Makelaars Alkmaar.
Job is known for his positive energy, solution orientation and down-to-earth approach. He always thinks along, comes up with creative solutions and is not satisfied until his customers are. As MT member Job is involved in shaping the mission and strategy of the three disciplines of the VLIEG Advies Groep: brokerage, mortgages and insurance. His direct approach and no-nonsense attitude, combined with honest and sincere communication and the ability to do things a little differently than the masses, provide a clear added value that is appreciated by colleagues and clients alike.

In his position as Business Unit Manager Brokerage, Job manages the residential brokerage branches, works continuously to further improve and streamline work processes, increases the visibility of VLIEG, and is actively involved in acquisition and consulting around new construction developments.

Jobs best success story
One of the most extraordinary trajectories Job has experienced took place in 2010, in the midst of the economic recession. A home was sold under the – at the time common – resolutive condition of the buyer selling his own home. Whereas nowadays such constructions hardly ever occur anymore, back then it was sometimes the only way to keep the housing market moving. What made this transaction special was that it involved not one but several homes, with each buyer in turn dependent on the sale of his own home. A chain of interests and conditions emerged, with each link being indispensable to the success of the whole. The careful coordination of all these different interests, the cooperation in extending conditions and the constant management of expectations demanded extreme precision, patience and creativity.
In the end, all the puzzle pieces fell together perfectly and the complete “domino game” was successfully completed. Both sellers and buyers were happy and grateful. He still remembers the thank-you cards Job received afterwards. One of them will always stay with him. One buyer’s card read:
“Regarding Job – it will be all right – Kuperus”, referring to the reassuring words Job kept repeating during the process: “Breathe in, breathe out – it will be all right.”
It is a success story that will always stay with him.
