After working for a time at VLIEG in Amstelveen and Amsterdam, Marieke now feels at home at VLIEG Bergen. She has always been interested in homes and before becoming a real estate agent worked in home furnishing. She has now been a real estate agent since 2013 and helps people in Bergen fulfill their housing needs.

Marieke's best success story

A special moment in Marieke’s career was assisting a deaf couple with their move to a new home. Here Marieke also helped with ordering the furniture and other side issues. She later visited them, the beaming faces of the satisfied customers made her very happy.

Another proud moment for Marieke was getting her degree under special circumstances. When she got her paper and was sworn in as a registered broker and appraiser, it felt like a milestone. Furthermore, Marieke loves complex cases and enjoys going that extra mile for people. For example, she discovered that a property had a small piece of land that was in someone’s name in 1820. With a notary, she found a solution. It was nice to be able to sell the property with everything neatly arranged.

Sinds maart had ik besloten om te oriënteren op een koop-woning. Al snel kon ik terecht bij Omar voor een hypotheekadvies gesprek. Ik was door Omar snel op de hoogte...wat ik wel en niet kon kwa budget. Eenmaal ik serieus wilde rondkijken werd er een gesprek georganiseerd met Esther, de aankoopmakelaar, door de samenwerking met Omar en Esther heb ik uiteindelijk heel eenvoudig en snel (toen ik er eenmaal voor wilde gaan) een prachtig appartement kunnen kopen in Haarlem. Wanneer ik vragen had en Omar of Esther waren niet beschikbaar konden Birgit en Marieke mij ook meteen helpen. Mocht ik weer iets anders willen kopen zal ik zeker weer VLIEG overwegen. Daarnaast heb ik ook mijn verzekeringen ondergebracht bij VLIEG, mede door de snelle response en fijne samenwerking die zij bieden. Nogmaals heel erg bedankt voor alle hulp en tot een volgende keer!
