Berry Achthoven is a mortgage consultant at VLIEG Makelaars. He has lived in Hoorn since he was six years old and has been in the business for over 32 years. A former colleague made him enthusiastic about joining VLIEG – and with success. Berry helps customers arrange their mortgages, both for existing buildings and new construction. Outside working hours he can be found on the tennis or padel court, riding his racing bike or watching sports on TV.

Berry is an experienced force within VLIEG’s mortgage team. He interviews clients, works out applications and makes accurate calculations for mortgages and insurance. He arranges the advisory report, takes care of the mortgage application and keeps track of everything in systems such as Keyview and Accelerate. He answers questions by email or WhatsApp and monitors progress.
