The story behind Welmoed

Welmoed knew early on that she wanted to do something around administration and organizing. After an education executive secretary and several temporary jobs, she transferred to VLIEG in 2003. She started as a commercial employee, but after a long time at VLIEG became office manager. Meanwhile Welmoed is a familiar face within the company. Her work is very diverse, but her passion lies mainly in new construction.

What does Welmoed mean to VLIEG?

Welmoed ensures that everything runs smoothly at the office of VLIEG Heerhugowaard and in doing so has many different activities. From scheduling appointments and preparing deeds of sale, to preparing reports and directing new construction projects.

Welmoed keeps the overview, ensures a tight schedule and, in cooperation with the team, ensures that everything runs smoothly and customers feel well served.

Welmoed is best known for her customer-friendliness. With her friendly approach and patience, she makes every conversation a pleasant experience. In addition, she performs well in busy situations. Colleagues and customers appreciate her ability to keep an overview, regardless of the situation.

In the workplace, Welmoed derives satisfaction from successfully selling a home. For her, the moment that both buyer and seller are happy is the success. It gives her a sense of pride to guide clients in such an important step in their lives. Outside of work, Welmoed enjoys her running sessions, the cozy Friday nights with French fries at the neighbors, her family and her 3 cats.

Welmoed's finest success story

One of Welmoed’s fondest memories at VLIEG was a new construction project in 2004. The “first come, first served” promotion attracted so much interest that 30 to 40 people showed up at the door to buy a home. Some people even slept in sleeping bags in front of the door, so they were the first ones there when the office opened. As they waited, they struck up conversations with each other and already discovered who their neighbors would be, thanks to the building numbers attached to the homes. This special situation led to a nice article in the newspaper. It was a unique moment and a success story that Welmoed still looks back on with a smile.
