The Lievenshof is somewhat hidden among the greenery and makes this a lovely quiet place to live. Because the spacious balcony is directly adjacent to the courtyard garden behind the complex and faces south, you have a very idyllic spot to sit outside all year round. In April, the cherry blossoms mark the start of a beautiful summer when the area is in full bloom. Despite the quiet surroundings with plenty of greenery, the location is very central in Alkmaar: for your daily groceries, you can walk to the local shopping centre within no time and Alkmaar's bustling city centre is also nearby.

De Hoef is a very child-friendly neighbourhood with several primary schools within walking distance and secondary schools within cycling distance from the house. The local shopping centre is a mere 500 metres away and offers a wide range of supermarkets, shops, chemists, specialist shops and eateries.
